Brazil – The BEST film I’ve seen this year!

This evening, I turned on BBC iPlayer to find the most insane, foolish, yet surprisingly accurate satire portrayal of modern life. It’s called ‘Brazil’, and is the most valuable example of what on earth is going on in current society…

To be honest, I’m VERY surprised that it was even allowed to be broadcast at the moment – especially on the BBC.

Within the first few minutes, I was amazed by how ‘wacky’ the presentation of the story is, the amazing detail and structure to the visual design of the sets (even though everything has a palette of grey), and yet somehow it is able to perfectly represent how ‘normal’ it is today.

If you want a laugh, and then cry soon after to realise how ‘close’ our lives are to this film – check it out!

Doctor Who Fob Watch… I REALLY want one!

The Master's Fob Watch

The Master's Fob WatchIt has come to my attention that I have been neglecting my ‘back burner’ over the past few months – but I’m out to rectify this… And look what I found: The Doctor’s Fob Watch!

Ok, admittedly, it’s The Master’s Fob Watch, but it’s better than nothing! [And let’s be honest, they both looked the same to me!]

Based on the Masters Fob Watch from popular BBC TV show Doctor Who. Gallifreyan engraving covers the outside of the zinc alloy case which opens to display the polished face of this iconic time-piece which again is engraved with Gallifreyan symbols. The watch also has a built-in light, which illuminates the face with a blue glow.
